The Pacific Western Rugby Conference and The West Coast Conference is hosting the Pacific Coast Sevens National Qualifier Tournament. The tournament will have 6 men’s teams from the Pacific Western Rugby Conference and 5 women’s teams from the West Coast Conference. It will be hosted by Stanford University. The tournament will be on March 26th. There will be total of the 18 matches. Not only does the winner get to play in the National Sevens Tournament in Atlanta Georgia on May 14th and 15th. The Pacific Western Rugby Conference has also secured an at large birth as well. This means two teams will be representing the Pacific Western Rugby Conference. On the women’s side of the table, the winner will also get to go to nationals. It is yet to be confirmed if the West Coast will get one an at large bid but it is highly likely they will.
